Christmas in September...

Logan chose P B & J sandwiches for his lunch yesterday - so as we were eating our lunch all of a sudden Logan stands up on his chair and says, "Ho, Ho, Ho... Merry Cursemas (it's supposed to be Christmas but this is how he says it) - what do you want for Christmas?" (It's funny because he can say Christmas, it's just when he puts merry in front of it it comes out as "cursemas". :) ) Well, I was a little taken back by this sudden burst of holiday spirit so I said, "Ummmm.... well...." He looked at me in all seriousness and said "Mom, hurry up, I gotta go fly with my reindeer!"
Me: "Oh! OK! Ummm... a jumprope (that was the only thing I could think of on the spot!).
Logan: "Here you go!" he said as he did something with his hands and then handed me a pretend jumprope.
Me: "Oh thank you Santa Clause."
Logan: "Your welcome. Bye - have a Merry Cursemas!" and he pretended to drive his sleigh and fly away with his reindeer.

Well, needless to say it has gotten me thinking about Christmas - it's not too far away and it will be here before we know it!
