Here is Logan the next morning - it wasn't raining and the sun came out but it didn't really start to warm up until about mid morning so I remembered that we had a few extra jackets in our trailer. So we doubled up the boys in jackets and they went out to play. Logan was such a good "helper".
And these two... I couldn't get a picture without one of them pulling funny faces. They also wouldn't put their sticks down. They called them their fire sticks. They had to have them by the fire at night and constantly by their side - we even had to haul them home with us. Pretty cute. I think I remember doing that when I was little too.
David getting the dutch oven ready to start cooking dinner!
We went on a few 4 wheeler rides - I didn't take the camera with me but the trails were so pretty - so many wild flowers still. Picking huckleberries - we picked about 2 gallons worth of huckleberries. David was quite excited about this. Now your probably thinking that isn't that much - huckleberries are about a 1/4 to a 1/2 the size of a raspberry! So yes, this did take quite some time but David was so excited about it. He wants to make huckleberry syrup, huckleberry pancakes, huckleberry cheesecake... the list goes on and on. So, here we are, everyone picking huckleberries, which the boys really had alot of fun. I think it was a contest between all of us to see who had picked the most. Oh, and we ate a few too. :)
The day after we got back David's mom had to go in and get some testing done to see if she is still cancer free. It reminded me that life is short and that it is important to make and strengthen family relationships while we are here. I am so glad that my boys were able to go camping with their grandma and grandpa and make some memories.

That looks like it was a lot of fun. Carly wants to go camping. How do you get your pictures all put together in a rectangle on your blog. It looks so organized and nice.
