Here is Logan the next morning - it wasn't raining and the sun came out but it didn't really start to warm up until about mid morning so I remembered that we had a few extra jackets in our trailer. So we doubled up the boys in jackets and they went out to play. Logan was such a good "helper".
And these two... I couldn't get a picture without one of them pulling funny faces. They also wouldn't put their sticks down. They called them their fire sticks. They had to have them by the fire at night and constantly by their side - we even had to haul them home with us. Pretty cute. I think I remember doing that when I was little too.
David getting the dutch oven ready to start cooking dinner!
We went on a few 4 wheeler rides - I didn't take the camera with me but the trails were so pretty - so many wild flowers still. Picking huckleberries - we picked about 2 gallons worth of huckleberries. David was quite excited about this. Now your probably thinking that isn't that much - huckleberries are about a 1/4 to a 1/2 the size of a raspberry! So yes, this did take quite some time but David was so excited about it. He wants to make huckleberry syrup, huckleberry pancakes, huckleberry cheesecake... the list goes on and on. So, here we are, everyone picking huckleberries, which the boys really had alot of fun. I think it was a contest between all of us to see who had picked the most. Oh, and we ate a few too. :)
These two boys love dogs and Sonny is no exception. In fact they both have a stuffed animal pug like Sonny, and they have both named them Sonny too. Logan was all smiles telling me that they were taking Sonny for a ride. OK... I video taped them for a little bit and then went inside. I didn't know they had this planned... these pic's were taken by David - I just saw them when I downloaded them to the computer. (Sorry Karl and Sadie - again.)
Thinking about it...
And... they do it! Look at Dillon's face - I love it. You might have to click on the picture and make it bigger to really see it. And Logan... ready to make a jump for it. And Sonny... he's just along for the ride. :)
Dillon looking back to make sure Sonny is still in the back of the Gator and Logan sittin' there with a big smile on his face.
Now, they both look and see what they came down and make doubly sure that Sonny is still in the Gator. Oh - boys will be boys I guess.
Love those boys!! :)
What's not to love? Little toes and fingers! So cute!!
