His awesome backpack - Toy Story. He saw this in Target and put it on and wore it around the whole store - even when he was looking at the toys. "This is the backpack, Mom." What is it with my boys and backpacks this year? He was soooo excited to show it to anyone who came to the house. Too cute.
Walking up to Mrs. Ottley's preschool. Look at him... so excited to get in there and get started.
Waiting by the top of the stairs making sure it's really OK that he go down to Preschool.
Hanging up his backpack and jacket.
Then Mrs. Ottley asked him to go find his name at one of the tables where his chair would be. He spotted it first thing and I wish I could of gotten a picture of his face and smile when he turned to me to show me that he had his very own chair and name on the table. He was just beaming - it was soooo cute - but I missed it with the camera - darn it. He began building with the legos.
When I picked him up he came walking out and the first thing he said was, "Mom!! I have HOMEWORK!!" He was just smiling and smiling - so proud to finally be able to have homework like his older brothers - we'll see if this excitement over homework holds for the upcoming years. :) It was really cute. I then asked him where it was and he turned around and pointed and told me that it was in his back pack. Too cute! Love that boy! :)

Wow Jen, you really are alive! It seems like feast or famine with your posts. :) I'm glad you're in the feast phase so I can see what you've been up to. How is it that the whole summer went by without us squeezing in a walk?
Jenni,
I have the cutest nephew ever! That is one of the cutest things I have ever read. I just loved this kid. So glad to hear he's loving school. Can't wait to spend some time with you guys in a couple weeks! :)
