Bryson and his dad trying to dislodge it from it's roots so they can weigh it.
Yes, it was a little heavy.
It weighed 34.5 lbs.
David and Bryson trying it out... not bad, they had said, which really suprised me because Bryson is my most picky eater. He actually likes cabbage. So, he took the pictures to school and found out that he didn't have the biggest one in his grade, the biggest one was a girl in his class, and hers weighed 70 something lbs!! She is going to state for the finals. He was excited that someone in his class was going to be in the finals. So, it was something fun, something different and got Bryson to like to eat cabbage. :)
Now Dillon came home from school the other day with an assignment for a bug collection. At first he did not want to do it. He has such a big heart and couldn't stand to kill the insects. The catepillar was almost freed several times before it died. He had a hard time letting them die. But then he caught on to how much fun it was to try and catch them. So him and Bryson went out the other day and caught all he needed for his collection and then some. But Dillon would let the extra ones go once he had caught them so that they wouldn't die. Sweet boy. :)
Bryson was having so much fun - he didn't have this assignment last year so I guess he was making up for lost time. He was catching bugs left and right. Kept them occupied for a couple of hours.
Now this fuzzy wuzzy caterpillar wasn't scared of anything. It began crawling up Logan's foot and crawled up his entire body, just out exploring. Logan loved it!
