The End of June...

WOW! It's been a while since I posted but it has been a little crazy busy around here! I will try to catch up a little on what we've been up to. On June 24th & 25th my sisters and I went to my brother and sister-in-laws cabin up in Island Park for some much needed rest and relaxation. OK, I don't know about the rest part - we played games, ate yummy food, laughed and tried to watch a movie but ended it about 1:30 a.m. but for the relaxation part we did good - we had massages, scrubbed our feet and soaked them, and gave ourselves facials and then painted our fingernails and toenails. I know, some of you reading this are thinking that I didn't paint my fingernails and toenails, but I broke down and did it. Bright pink no less. Below is a picture to prove it. :) I have alot of GREAT pictures of you all with mud masks and cucumbers on your eyes, but I decided I would be nice and not post them on my blog. :) We also made a way cute craft! We had a great time and it was fun to get away from it all for a little while! Thanks Dana - it was so much fun! :) Oh - my sister in law had to go to a Scout Training sleepover thing - I think it's called Woodbadge? (The name alone sounds pretty intense! he, he, he.) Anyways, hence the scout shirt! Lookin good! :)

It was so pretty up there! Lots of flowers and greenery! We took a walk down to the river and sat on the dock for a while. We got to make some friends while we were down there - a snake and a bat paid us a visit! If that wasn't enough my two sisters thought they would save the bat (it was in the water trying to swim and they thought it was going to die) and apparently Kim has a soft spot for bats because she got a stick and they got him to safety and into the bushes and then they ran so fast! It was so funny! :)

Then the next morning David took the 3 boys camping with Graig and his boys for 3 days up to Brush Creek to do some fishing. Logan was so excited to go camping! David was so good to take all 3 boys. He was glad to come home on the 3rd day though - it was so HOT and where they were camping there was no shade, just willows and Logan was always into something - opening something, pouring something out, hiding the 4 wheeler keys, etc. All in all they had a good time and look forward to next years Father and Son Campout.

Yes, Logan is just in his underwear - not sure where his shorts or pants went to - looks like he is enjoying himself though.

Mason - he is growing so fast! When he went in for his 2 month check up he weighed 12 lbs. 13 oz. He is starting to get little chubby cheeks! He is such a good baby! :)
